Swiss Film "Who is Still Alive" at DOXA Documentary Film Festival 2026

The Consulate is pleased to highlight Who is Still Alive, directed by Nicolas Wadimoff, as part of the 2026 DOXA Documentary Film Festival in Vancouver. The film is a 2025 documentary co-production from Switzerland, Palestine and France and is presented in DOXA’s Justice Forum, a program dedicated to works that encourage dialogue on urgent social issues.

In Who is Still Alive, nine refugees who escaped Gaza recount their lives, memories, losses and hopes within a stark visual setting that traces the map of Gaza on the floor. Through these testimonies, the film reflects on survival, memory and the struggle to reclaim one’s humanity in the face of devastation.

DOXA’s 25th edition takes place from 30 April to 10 May 2026 and brings together documentary films from Canada and around the world.
