Swiss cinema at Festival Regard in Saguenay

Saguenay hosts the 30^th edition of Festival Regard, an international festival dedicated to short film. Several Swiss productions are presented across different sections of the program.

Focus on the Swiss selection:

• Stefi, by Dejan Barac – Memory section
• Ostrich, by Marie Kenov – Youth section
• Déjà Nu and Dirt Devil 550 XS, by Rolf Hellat
• Bonobo and Fairplay Déjà, by Zoel Aeschbacher

Through bold forms, personal narratives and contemporary perspectives, this selection highlights the vitality and diversity of Swiss short filmmaking.

Filmmakers Rolf Hellat and Zoel Aeschbacher will be present in Saguenay on March 21 for a joint discussion organized as part of the festival. They will also take part in a special screening on March 23 at the Cinémathèque québécoise in Montreal, followed by a discussion with the audience.
