The animated feature Mary Anning, by Swiss director Marcel Barelli, is presented as part of the Les Sommets du cinéma d'animation festival at the Cinémathèque québécoise. Discover the story of Mary Anning, a pioneer of palaeontology whose passion and discoveries left a lasting mark on the history of science, in a sensitive and accessible film for all ages.

Following the screening, Marjolaine Perreten, creator of the film's visual universe, will lead a live drawing workshop: step-by-step character creation for children to follow along on site.

The artist is in Montreal as part of the Montreal Comics Festival.
