Hélène Becquelin is a guest of the Alliance française de Halifax for a discussion in French (all levels welcome) around her work Huitante.
Huitante, the Swiss French word for eighty, is a graphic memoir of the 1980s, an intimate and universal portrait of young adulthood set against crises, dreams and aspirations.
The comics artist will also share her creative journey, inspirations and insights into the craft of comics, as well as her enduring love of punk.
