Concerto di Margherita presents Love’s Blindness– Il gioco della cieca

The Basel-based ensemble Concerto di Margherita presents Il Gioco della Cieca – Blind Love, a programme dedicated to Italian music from the late Renaissance and early Baroque period.

Bringing together five specialists in early music, the ensemble offers a distinctive performance in which singers accompany themselves on period instruments. Combining music, poetry and storytelling, the programme explores the many facets of love through the rich musical traditions of sixteenth- and seventeenth-century Italy.
